About me

I know firsthand what it’s like to go through hard times. There have been points in my life when everything felt overwhelming and out of balance, and it took patience and care to find my way back to self-compassion, purpose, and connection. My journey has led me into many different communities and situations, from supporting people in crisis and trauma to living and working in places where I sometimes felt invisible. My approach brings together my own healing and years of experience in behavioral health, cross-cultural conflict resolution, living abroad, and leading wilderness expeditions. These experiences help me connect with others in a genuine and caring way. For nearly twenty years, I have supported people facing homelessness, addiction, crisis, marginalization, and generational trauma. No matter where I work, I try to create a steady, respectful space where people can reconnect with what matters most to them. I also understand what it’s like to feel unseen or underrepresented at work and in life. That’s why this practice is here for anyone who is struggling to find their way, particularly people of color and LGBTQ individuals who have faced hardship in places that did not fully recognize them.
